Omniva LLC Software Engineer in Bellevue, Washington
Position: Software Engineer for Omniva LLC (Bellevue, WA) DUTIES: Design and develop platform software from the ground-up leveraging Cloud Native Open Source. Design, develop, and test software that powers Omniva's infrastructure and aid in building and maintaining control plane systems for large-scale networks. Architect and implement highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems. Prepare design documentation in collaboration with the scrum team(s), Product Owner(s), and Product Manager(s). Prepare flow charts and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis. Prepare test data for unit, integration, and performance testing. Analyze business needs, create software solutions, and apply domain-driven design. Investigate and resolve complex customer issues with software solutions and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Design, code, test and document software according to Omniva's software standards, security best practices, policies, and procedures. Evaluate and recommend software solutions to meet customer needs. Provide high-level problem analysis and solution design with Product Owner and Product Management. Research, validate, and recommend application architecture. REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related STEM field and three (3) years of software or data engineering experience. Experience must include the following: Cloud development, virtualization platforms, and distributed systems; API design for computer vision tasks; Python, Java, C++ and GO; and Big data, data structures, and data warehousing.
