Robinhood Markets, Inc has one position available for Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA.
Manage features throughout their lifecycle, from inception and design to implementation and launch. Build, test, and release product-facing features with stringent correctness and scalability requirements. Design and write software and software test suites. Write database queries and code to store data in databases to facilitate complex and technical processes. Design a solution with other engineers and the ops team to fix a scalability problem and then implement it. Test software systems for scalability and performance to identify specific causes and analyze software systems. Work with the front-end team to fine-tune Robinhood's REST API. Collaborate with the data team to support customers by designing and developing software to assist in the processing and analysis of large data sets. Build, test and release operational-facing features with stringent correctness and compliance requirements. Contribute to open-source software projects. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum Requirements for Position: Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Education or experience must include:
Programming languages and frameworks including Swift or Objective-C.
Building and maintaining user interfaces using UIKit or SwiftUI.
Integrating iOS applications with RESTful APIs.
Using Xcode and other standard iOS development tools.
Applyng object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Writing unit tests and UI tests using XCTest or similar frameworks.
Utilizing Git for version control.
