We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated iOS Software Engineer to join the team powering the T-Life app-T-Mobile's flagship mobile experience. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, performant, and AI-enabled Android features that reach millions of users. The Software Engineer is essential for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements and support high availability environments. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams to develop software components using modern technologies and architectural patterns. This position requires independent development of full software stacks and understanding system protocols, data flows, and technology interactions. Success is measured by the ability to deliver technical solutions, produce clear documentation, and contribute to technology strategy and innovation. The work impacts the organization by enabling advanced software systems that improve operational efficiency and support business goals. Job Responsibilities: Develop software solutions that support engineering projects and meet customer requirements, including design and development of native iOS features using Swift, Objective-C, and the iOS SDK. Collaborate with technical teams including product, design, backend, QA, and AI engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions and continuously learn new technologies. Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements, including architectural decisions and API integrations. Contribute to technology strategy by understanding current mobile technologies, iOS platform evolution, and supporting business goals through scalable and modular application design. Present innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, or services based on industry research, including opportunities to enhance mobile experiences through AI-enabled capabilities such as personalization, recommendations, and conversational flows. Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring secure, performant, and reliable mobile experiences. Contribute to quality practices including unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD participation, and performance optimization across devices and OS versions. Education and Work Experience: 2-4+ years Technical engineering experience. (Required) Experience developing iOS applications using Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, and the iOS SDK Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Communication (Required) Customer Service (Required) Analytics (Required) Technical Writing (Required) Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, Coordinator, or VIPER.
