Job Overview T-Mobile is in the midst of a multi-year Oracle ERP and Commerce transformation that is central to how we enable our dealer and partner ecosystem. We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to play a critical role in shaping the architecture, integrations, and long-term strategy of our Oracle ERP and Oracle Commerce Cloud platforms. This role is mostly focused on this transformation for the next two-plus years and is designed for an architect who thrives in complex, ambiguous, and high-impact environments. Why This Role Matters This role sits at the heart of T-Mobile's effort to modernize how we onboard, support, and transact with our dealer network. By enabling seamless self-service experiences across onboarding, credit, contracting, provisioning, and invoicing, this architect will directly influence dealer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and digital commerce capabilities. This is a build-it, own-it environment where architectural decisions have long-term enterprise impact. What You'll Do Own end-to-end soluton architecture across Oracle ERP, Oracle Commerce Cloud, and integration platforms Define and author conceptual, logical, and end-to-end architecture artifacts Lead integration strategy including security, data flows, reliability, and scalability Partner closely with product, engineering, UX, operations, and system integrators Set architectural standards and ensure adherence through design reviews Actively participate in incident analysis, root cause identification, and long-term remediation Influence enterprise architecture direction while owning domain-level decisions What Success Looks Like In the first 90 days, success is defined by rapid learning, thoughtful assessment of current-state architecture, and the ability to identify and propose meaningful improvements. Beyond 90 days, this role is expected to drive execution on architectural initiatives, extend solutions into a long-term roadmap, and shape strategic direction across ERP and Commerce platforms. Who Thrives in This Role Successful candidates are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority, and owning outcomes end to end. They communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, challenge assumptions constructively, and bring a strong engineering mindset to everything they do. What Makes This Role Challenging This role operates within a complex enterprise environment undergoing significant transformation. Architects must balance speed and stability and work across global teams and make decisions with incomplete information. Resilience, adaptability, and accountability are essential. Technology certifications (such as Java, Microsoft, Oracle) a plus (Required) 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture Hands-on experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud or Oracle Fusion ERP Deep expertise in high-volume, high-availability integrations Strong understanding of security, PII, CPNI, and compliance considerations Proven ability to lead through influence and navigate organizational complexity Preferred Experience Oracle Integration Cloud experience
