Job Duties: Direct support to Labor Relations and Corporate Leadership in the analytics and projections of all union contract negotiations (stores, DC's, and plants), providing real-time scenario modeling and what-if cost impact assessments of anticipated, proposed, or known contract changes. Design, develop, and maintain a dynamic three-year enterprise retail labor cost tool to provide full transparency on labor cost fluctuations and their impact on the P&L. Responsibilities include sourcing payroll system data to forecast wage rate changes and their financial implications, supporting the company's quarterly and annual store labor planning processes, and analyzing collectively bargained trust fund data to anticipate current and future health, welfare, and pension cost adjustments. Support corporate, labor relations, human resources, and division teams with detailed labor contract analytics, modeling, cost projections, and ad hoc associate analytics. Democratize data and insights striving to deliver self-service tools to for regional Labor Relations, Labor, and Finance teams.
May telecommute. Reports to Bellevue, WA. Up to 10 % domestic travel for team meetings & team building for 1-2 days/trip.
*Requirements/Special Skills: *Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field and five (5) years of experience in an analytical role involving sourcing, interpreting, and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on large datasets.
In the alternative, employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field and seven (7) years of experience in an analytical role involving sourcing, interpreting, and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on large datasets.
Experience must include:
- Five (5) years of experience with advanced Excel, VB, and SQL.
- Five (5) years of experience with report automation, Power BI, Python, Access, and large-scale data schemas.
- Three (3) years of experience with payroll applications, payroll data, and workforce demographics.
- Five (5) years of experience communicating complex analyses while simplifying and summarizing results and recommendations for labor relations and leadership teams.
Five (5) years of experience in a grocery or other large retail environment support function.
May telecommute. Reports to Bellevue, WA. Up to 10 % domestic travel for team meetings & team building for 1-2 days/trip. Must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.

$122,970.00- $158,700.00 per year.
