TikTok Inc. Machine Learning Engineer (Multiple Positions) in Bellevue, Washington
Responsibilities Develop highly scalable classifiers, tools, statistical models, and/or algorithms by leveraging cutting-edge machine learning (ML) and data mining technologies to improve user experience and optimize consumption of content/products on the platform. Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team, and operations team to help define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints. Design and implement tools to analyze the ML model's performance and optimize performance of ML system. Innovate on optimizing content consumption and user experience through personalization. Work with cross functional teams and product stakeholders to deliver system and product insights through analytics. Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Coding using Python or C++; Optimizing, training, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow; Developing code and identifying issues in Linux environment; Developing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems; and Utilizing Big data framework Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.
