Actalent Electrical Project Manager in Bellevue, Washington

Electrical Project Manager

Hybrid | Flexible Schedule | $120,000 – $185,000

## Why This Opportunity Is Different

You’ll be joining a 100% employee-owned, award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm that has spent decades earning a reputation for solving the problems others can’t. This isn’t a firm where you’re a number — it’s one where your name is on the work, your voice shapes decisions, and your ownership stake grows with every year you contribute.

With six generations of internal leadership, this firm promotes from within, retains its people, and builds careers — not just resumes. If you’re looking for a place where technical excellence meets real flexibility and genuine ownership culture, you’ve found it.

## The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex, high-profile electrical engineering projects across some of the Pacific Northwest’s most meaningful infrastructure. You’ll manage projects from concept through construction, serve as a trusted client advisor, and mentor the engineers around you.

This is a hybrid role with true flexibility — you’ll be expected in the office once every one to two weeks for collaboration, with the rest of your schedule on your terms.

## What You’ll Be Working On

This firm’s portfolio spans some of the most technically challenging and rewarding project types in the region:

  • Healthcare & Hospital Facilities — Complex power, lighting, and life-safety systems for major medical campuses

  • Transportation & Infrastructure — Landmark projects including multimodal terminals, bridges, and transit systems

  • Higher Education — Student unions, research facilities, and campus-wide electrical upgrades

  • Civic & Municipal — Long-term on-call engineering partnerships with major city and state agencies

  • Sustainable & Net-Zero Design — Including award-winning net-zero energy multifamily towers and LEED projects

  • Military & Marine — Specialized electrical systems for high-security and mission-critical environments

If you want a diverse portfolio where no two projects are the same — this is it.

## Core Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design and project delivery from schematic design through construction administration

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships across multiple concurrent projects

  • Coordinate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary MEP team (mechanical, fire protection, ICT, commissioning)

  • Serve as the primary client contact — building relationships that turn projects into long-term partnerships

  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level electrical engineers

  • Produce and review construction documents and specifications to the firm’s high-quality standard

## What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • 8+ years of building electrical systems design and project management experience

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington state (or ability to obtain)

  • Proficiency in Revit — this is a must

  • Proven track record managing projects from concept to closeout

  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills

    Preferred:

  • Healthcare, transportation, or civic project experience

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM coordination workflows

  • LEED Accreditation or PMP Certification

## Schedule & Flexibility

This firm trusts its people. You’ll come in once a week or once every two weeks — whatever the project demands. The rest of the time, you work where you’re most effective. No micromanaging. No mandatory face time. Just great work and strong results.

## Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $185,000 depending on experience

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) — you’re not just an employee, you’re an owner

  • Performance-based bonuses

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with employer match

  • PTO, paid holidays, and flexible work arrangements

  • Professional development funding — licenses, certifications, memberships, and continuing education

## The Culture

This is a firm built on longevity. Leaders who started as designers. Principals who’ve spent their entire careers here. A team that shows up to cheer on the local hockey team together and celebrates 15-year anniversaries like milestones worth marking. The people here stay — because the work is meaningful, the ownership is real, and the flexibility is genuine.

If you’re ready to do the best work of your career without sacrificing your life to do it — this is the move.
