Actalent Autocad Designer in Bellevue, Washington
Job Description
Work with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts and translate those requirements into detailed interior CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver approved design sets.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to review permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans to address design-related inquiries.
Support the design quality control process through participation in daily peer reviews, adherence to design checklists and standards, and constant feedback solicitation from Design Engineers.
Deliver new designs, post-permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity at delivery stations.
Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Architecture, AutoCAD, CAD, and AutoCAD drafting and design skills.
Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse or industrial building environments.
Ability to work across a large number of projects simultaneously and present to leadership and stakeholders.
Experience with construction documents, design, and drafting.
3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
3+ years of project coordinating experience.
3+ years of experience in drafting (facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural).
Associate's Degree.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail while working independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Strong communication skills for various audiences, including written and verbal communications, and meeting facilitation.
Work Environment
The role requires onsite presence for the first 6 weeks in Bellevue, WA, with a hybrid option available afterward.

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $42.00/hr.
