Actalent Autocad Designer in Bellevue, Washington
Job Description
Collaborate with Design Engineers to understand delivery station layout requirements and convert those requirements into accurate, detailed interior CAD drawings.
Work closely with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, Pre‑Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver complete and approved design packages.
Participate in reviews of permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans with internal and external stakeholders, addressing design-related questions and issues.
Support design quality control by participating in daily peer reviews, adhering to design standards and checklists, and seeking continuous feedback from Design Engineers.
Produce new designs and support post‑permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits that improve safety, quality, productivity, and capacity across delivery stations.
Implement new design templates, process improvements, and updated safety requirements into standard design sets.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Architecture, AutoCAD, CAD, and drafting/design principles.
Strong understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably within large warehouse or industrial environments.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and present design concepts to leadership and stakeholders.
Experience working with construction documents, architectural/engineering design, and drafting workflows.
3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
3+ years of project coordination experience.
3+ years of drafting experience in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural settings.
Associate’s Degree required.
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast‑paced, often ambiguous environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and communicate with diverse audiences.
Work Environment
This role requires on-site presence in Bellevue, WA, for the first 6 weeks. A hybrid work model will be available after the initial onsite period.

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.50 - $42.00/hr.
