What You Will Do:
Performs CT imaging procedures, operates CT equipment, positions patient, performs and documents patient assessment as it relates to the imaging encounter. Exports images to PACS, accesses and utilizes computer HIS/RIS as needed. Prepares CT room, equipment, and supplies.
What You Will Need:
Graduate of formal radiologic technology training program in an approved school.
ARRT (R) required: ODH license in radiography required.
Must be currently certified in CPR, and be recertified bi-annually.
Ability to work in an environment that is fast-paced requiring multi-tasking.
Uses proper body mechanics. Ability to push, pull and/or lift patient from carts, wheelchairs, or other transport devices, onto imaging table/couch.
Complies with all Service Excellence, Quality, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Ability to read and write small letters and numbers.
Ability to maintain neat and orderly files and records.
Ability to communicate and understand oral and written communication.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, physicians, co‑workers, patients and students.
Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Medical Center emergency codes.
Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission-based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment. Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms.
