Schedule: 12-hour Pitman Schedule (Rotating 4 Shifts)

Position Summary:
The Shift Manager is responsible for leading night shift operations in H.B. Fuller's extrusion plant. This role ensures compliance with all corporate Safety, Quality, and Production programs while maintaining adherence to all H.B. Fuller policies, practices, procedures, and programs. The Shift Manager plays a critical leadership role in building a high-performing team and ensuring that plant performance goals are met. This position will need a strong leader interested in growing with the company.
Primary Responsibilities

·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ensure all operations are executed in accordance with H.B. Fuller's policies, practices, procedures, and programs.
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding product quality, service, and on-time delivery.
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and support proactive asset management initiatives.
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Lead and support product scale-ups and new product introductions in an extrusion manufacturing environment.
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Actively participate in plant meetings and committees (e.g., Safety, Quality, 5S, Housekeeping).
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Identify issues related to safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. Use structured problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
