ABC Technologies is seeking an experienced Process Technician to support automotive parts manufacturing operations in Bellevue, Ohio. This role is critical to maintaining efficient production processes, ensuring product quality, reducing scrap, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.
This is a technical manufacturing role, not a general labor or entry-level operator position.
Position Summary
The Process Technician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure production runs efficiently and meets quality standards. This role works closely with engineering and quality teams to improve performance, reduce downtime, and maintain process control.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure they meet established parameters and quality standards • Measure and track key process variables such as temperature, pressure, cycle times, and flow rates • Identify process deviations and troubleshoot production issues • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions • Collaborate with engineers to improve efficiency and productivity • Program equipment based on part specifications • Verify color concentrates and minimize scrap output • Perform quality inspections and ensure product consistency • Support continuous improvement initiatives • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required • Prior experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred • Experience in process monitoring, control, or optimization strongly preferred • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze production issues • Experience with equipment programming is a plus • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
