Our client, a leading poultry hatchery operation, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Hatchery Laborer - Transfer to join their team. As a Hatchery Laborer - Transfer, you will be part of the poultry production department supporting hatchery operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Hatchery Laborer - Transfer
Location: Belleville, PA
Pay Rate: $16.25
Shift: Sun, Mon, Thurs & Fri - 10 hour days with a start time betweein 7a-9a
What's the Job?
Place eggs in incubator trays and secure them with paper wads
Transfer trays from incubator to hatchery and prepare for hatching
Clean cages and incubators to maintain a hygienic environment
Sort and load hatched chicks into trucks for delivery
Administer vaccinations to chicks as needed
What's Needed?
Ability to lift 40-60 lbs regularly
Comfort working in environments with strong smells and heat
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting
Availability to work scheduled shifts including weekends
Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices
