Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Summary
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to customer specifications, blueprints, and work orders. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to perform setups independently, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake machines
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production work orders
Select proper tooling based on material, thickness, and bend requirements
Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerance requirements
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Required Qualifications
Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Ability to independently perform machine setups and produce quality parts
Experience working with sheet metal (steel, stainless steel, aluminum)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Basic math skills, including measuring and angle calculations
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

This is a Permanent position based out of Belleville, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.
Medical/Dental/Vision/HRA/Annuity - 6 months from date of hire Vacation Time - will begin effective June 30th, after 6 months of continuous employment. Sick Time - will begin after 1 year of continuous employment. Mandatory Union Dues - $6/week, $24/month Mandatory One Time $176 Union Application Fee 12 Paid Holidays
