Essential Functions:

• Clean equipment or areas contaminated with oil or other hazardous, toxic, or caustic materials for re-use, using detergents and solvents, pressure washers, absorbent pads, filter pumps, drum skimmers, and marco skimmers.
• Build containment areas prior to beginning abatement or decontamination work using absorbent and containment booms.
• Wear a respirator into a permit required confined space to sample, remove, and pressure wash hazardous and non-hazardous sludge (or other materials) from the bottom and industrial tank or bilge tank using with detergents and solvents.
• Decontaminate (clean) oil spill and industrial cleaning equipment in a designated area for safe storage and reuse through methods proven safe for the environment.
• Remediate the area of concern to its prior working condition.
• Must answer the phone when on call
• Perform general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, organizing, cleaning, lawn care, and other assigned tasks.
• Deliver products and materials to designated areas or to customers as needed.
• Operate forklifts at the office warehouse and on job sites.
• Work with co-workers as a team to maintain a safe working environment.

• Must be able to learn from training classes, online instruction, and by example through on the job training and apply common sense understanding to carry out one- or two-step instructions.
• Must be able to pull a trailer
• Must be able to operate a boat
• Must be familiar with basic maintenance on small equipment, pumps, air compressors skimmers, etc

Education and Experience: No experience required. Must be able to read and comprehend English. *Physical Requirements: Persons in this position must be able to:*

Lift and pull a minimum of 75 pounds unassisted.

Speak, listen and understand in English and read to recognize similarities and differences between words in simple sentences.
