West Virginia Employer Part-Time and Full-Time Carpenters in Belington, West Virginia
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, drywall, and other materials to spec. Read blueprints and project plans, then lay out work and follow specifications. Build frameworks for structures; walls, floors, ceilings, door frames, roof trims, stairs. Install fixtures (doors, windows, cabinets, molding, stairs, decking, flooring, restroom accessories, and toilet partitions). Complete finish work (trim, hardware, cabinets) and rough work/framing as needed. Maintain tools/equipment, manage materials/logistics, keep site clean and safe. Repair or renovate existing structures; repair woodwork, replace windows/doors, patch walls, etc. Higher pay based on experience. Performance bonuses are available. Qualifications: Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Experience in commercial construction, excavation/utility work and reading/interrupting construction drawings is preferred but is not required. OSHA 10 or 30 certification or the ability to complete training is preferred. Local candidates are highly preferred. Schedule: Day shift, evenings & weekends as needed and overtime as needed.
