Working Hours: Availability for night shifts / shift rotation may be required
Position summary:
This position requires a performance driven individual with a working knowledge of scripting and programming. The candidate would be tasked with deploying software packages and remote software distribution, as well as creating tools and scripts for process automation.
Responsibilities:
Building, testing, and deploying software packages (e.g. Microsoft Security updates) in accordance with release schedules. Remote software distribution and remote support activities for troubleshooting of endpoint solutions. Creating and maintaining packages, as well as software consistency. Use programming to create supporting tools or to automate some manual processes.
Analyzing, tracing and extracting relevant details from logs, understanding the relationship of the details across different products and components for the services our customers have implemented.
Creating analytics reports, as well as automated reports which extract any necessary information from customers’ devices.
Adapting to operationally-specific scenarios that vary by product, account, or geography. Following standard work practices, adapting to operational changes as needed and onboarding new practices.
Develop, review and document procedures and improvements; Ensure processes adhere to all regulatory requirements; Identify patterns, provide feedback and follow-ups for the customer, and make suggestions for process, project, system and tool improvements.
Serving as the single point of contact to triage and escalate incidents.
Participate in team meetings and activities; Participate in special projects to continuously improve processes, tools, systems, and organization in accordance with the NCR improvement approach.
May require rotation in work hours and/or extended hours, as needed, to accommodate customer needs. Work may span multiple time zones, cultures and countries, and varying levels of management associated with multiple Customer personnel, internal organizations, and third-party suppliers.
Required skills:
Elementary knowledge of command line basics
Excellent MS Office knowledge
Basic understanding of HW/SW networking
Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
Able to learn at a rapid pace, desire to go the extra-mile consistently
Must be an innovative thinker who is proactive and readily embraces change
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects
Ability to develop and document procedures and processes
Pleasant and professional manner in dealing with colleagues and clients
Superior communication (verbal and written), presentation, and organization skills; ability to present information clearly and concisely in both English and Serbian
Optional skills and qualifications:
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, Visual Basic, etc.)
Experience in using software deployment tools (SCCM, CA, LanDesk, Ivanti, etc.)
Familiarity with Linux OS and its command line
1-2 years of related experience
Bachelor university degree in Information Technology/Computer Sciences
