We at Holycode are currently looking for a Medior Backend (Java) Engineer with strong skills and proven experience who is ready to dive into the neon (https://www.neon-free.ch/en/) project team, for a full-time engagement, to join our company of passionate IT professionals.

What You’ll Do:
Build stable and reliable backend services using technologies like Java 21, Spring Boot 3, REST APIs, and Kubernetes.
Contribute to our CI/CD processes and work within an agile Kanban setup.
Use observability tools to ensure system health and performance.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and platform experts to enhance our applications.
Shape processes, best practices, and design decisions through team discussions and retrospectives.
Our Tech Stack:
Java 21, Angular, Spring Boot 3, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs
MySQL and PostgreSQL
Google Cloud, Kubernetes
Key Qualifications:
4+ years of experience developing Java applications.
Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and networking.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Ownership of components, features, or systems in past roles.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Docker, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes.
Experience building and maintaining high-availability services.
