JOB SUMMARY\ The Block Plant Operator is a hands-on manufacturing role responsible for operating block and\ paver production equipment, maintaining product quality, and supporting safe and efficient\ plant operations. This position requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability\ to train and support team members while contributing to continuous improvement within the\ plant. Benefits include an annual bonus plan, 401k with employer match, health, dental & vision\ insurance, 9 paid holidays, paid parental leave and company paid life & disability insurance.\ Role and Responsibilities:\ Set up and run Columbia Block/Paver machine on a daily basis.\ Train other team members for operations coverage.\ Responsible for overall preventative/predictive maintenance program for the Block/Paver\ machine.\ Calculate adjustments needed to correct production equipment if necessary.\ Test all products and raw materials and record results.\ Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the plant.\ Maintain thorough knowledge of the manufacturing plant processes and equipment.\ Maintain working knowledge of industry technological developments and best practices.\ Maintenance of safety, quality, and production methods.\ Actively participate in hiring staff as required.\ Participate in training of employees.\ Understanding and regular creation and use of JSAs and SOPs.\ Other duties as assigned
