Job Description

T2S is looking for a software developer to design, implement, and maintain Java applications for mission critical systems. The role involves participating in the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design through testing and deployment—while writing high quality, efficient, and testable code. This individual will collaborate closely with software developers and architects to plan, build, and test web and desktop applications, prepare and release software components, troubleshoot and enhance existing systems, and continuously evaluate new technologies to support ongoing improvement and architectural innovation.

Day to Day:

•Design, implement, and maintain Java applications for mission-critical systems.

•Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

•Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in accordance with software development best practices.

•Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting them for architectural review.

•Collaborate with other software developers, and software architects to plan, design, develop, and test web and desktop applications.

•Prepare and produce releases of software components.

•Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Compensation: $120,000-150,000k annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•Minimum Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain a SCI

•3-5 years of proven hands-on software development experience.

•Solid object-oriented analysis and design skills using common design patterns.

•Profound insight of Java and JRE.

•Excellent knowledge of relational databases.

•Experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).

•Experience with build tools for continuous integration.

•Familiarity with version control systems •Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (e.g., JSF, Vaadin, Wicket, GWT).

•Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

•Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

•Knowledge of microservices architecture.

•Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
