Sartorius HR Business Partner in Beijing, China
The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for implementing globally/regionally defined initiatives, initiate local action based on global guidelines and policies and provide feedback to Centers of Expertises and Regional Business Partners. The holder of this position will ensure proximity to regional business and labor market and that Line Managers live up to their leadership role (i.e. performance mgmt., talent mgmt., workforce planning,...). The Human Resources Business Partner will also ensure compliance to Labor Law.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
Support managers in HR-related topics within structures of global HR org. and in compliance with global HR policies and guidelines, address local requirements/dev. to Centers of Expertises,SSC and Regional Head
Address local requirements/development/conceptual feedback and consolidate local data to Centers of Expertises, SSC and Regional Head and define initiatives accordingly
People Development: support, guide and coach managers in the country in performance management., training needs definition, identification and fostering of high-potentials, succession and career path planning; conduct local talent conferences
Organizational Development: execute local roll-out of diversity, corporate culture, and change management. initiatives, support re.org. go lives in the country
Retention/Exit Management: support exit management (e.g. negotiation of exit agreements, exit interviews), design and implement retention programs according to local needs in line with global Centers of Expertises' guidance
Employee Engagement: execute employee engagement initiatives taking into account local specifics to support, foster and emphasize company culture
Recruiting: support business in local workforce planning, anticipate/evaluate and coordinate local recruiting needs, support in profile def. of new positions and in final interview and selection process for critical positions, double check offer (proposal) and employment contract prepared by Human Resources Service Partner
Training: Design and facilitate new hires Welcome Workshop, evaluate local success
Compensation and Benefits: pay strategy discussion, conduct job evaluation with functional heads with newly created roles with support from Shared Service Cemter / Centers of Expertises and analyze data from salary survey, provide insights to line managers for decision making
Manage relations to worker's council and employee representatives, employer associates, external communities and networks if any
Ensure compliance to Labor Law
Qualifications & Skills:
University degree and above, major in HRM is a plus
More than 5-8 years' working experience as Human Resources Business Partner in a commercial or manufacturing environment
OD project, or Design of incentive plan, or Design job grading project, or Talent Pipeline build-up, or Campus Branding experience is a plus
Good communication across levels and functions
Business sense, open-minded, logical, self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, skillful for handle multi-tasks, quick learner and can work under high pressure
Team player
Fluent in oral and written English
Good MS Office skills, Word, Excel, PPT, HR system experience is must
