Job description
The position is in China where Safran Test Cells has established to support all installations and Customer Services activities for our equipment located in several regions in China.
Shared Responsibilities:
• Build an effective communication between all Safran Test Cells, customers, suppliers and partners to maintain stakeholders' cohesion and commitment and enable the projects performance
• Supporting day-to-day communication between local and distant stakeholders for converging on accurate definition of need, specification, technical interfaces and project dependencies.
• Working with Safran Test Cells local supply chain representative and provide support actively to suppliers, partners, on site installation, commissioning, and field services activities
• Launch, manage multi-services actions and track benefits, for assigned customers
• Ensure arbitrage and co-decision on technical option in his scope. Give orientation to Senior Management decision
• Be accountable for Field Services performance in China to support project managers to achieve budget goals, leadtime and quality for his portfolio of activities under his responsibility
• Edit lessons learned, improve practices for the benefit the global Field Services team by implementing JIRA
• Actively participate in a continuous improvement culture providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures
• Anticipate customers need and co-develop a strategy for Field services growth
• Provide input and recommendation on new services development roadmap
• Support in coordinating the development of new multidisciplinary services
Specific for Commissioning Manager:
• Make sure all engineering documentation is available and understood
• Manage all SAT activities onsite from the scope of Safran Test Cells and suppliers
• Manage all available calibration equipment
Candidate skills & requirements
• Demonstrated awareness of international variances in cultural pertaining to global field service activities
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written with a proven ability to be assertive yet approachable delivering a positive customer service experience, even in case of claim or severe dissatisfaction
• Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally, as required
• Proven ability to make sound judgments and decisions and understand how decisions affect business lines and the organization as a whole.
• Ability to acquire expertise in different field service capabilities
• Ability to understand customers specific and generic, explicit and non-explicit needs, and support in proposing unique solutions
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; actively seeks opportunities to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met
• Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, able to prioritize activities
• Ability to locate and establish business relationships with key customer decision makers
• Ability to manage multiple project activities and communicate goals, objectives, lead highly multidisciplinary team, identify and manage external stakeholders
• Ability to work in different cultures with successful outcome
• Ability to build consensus with support teams to provide customers with an excellent service
• Proficient in MS Office programs to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
