The role of Assistant Manager, Business Support directly reports to Head of Business Development. The primary reponsibilities of the role are to provide business support to Wholesale Distribution teams of the branches and to drive the implementation of the business development plans and strategies.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Act as the key contact point with Banc and Broker Channel to develop and maintain a sound and sustainable partnership, with directly reporting to the distribution support head. It ensures effective mutual communication and facilitates strategy implementation to boost sales across the entity.
Analyze and regularly track on the business performance and KPIs of the branches and channels, not limited to product mix, frontline productivity, sales targets and results analysis.
Track and analyze the effectiveness of business promotion plans and other initiatives, including tracking the strategic project such as IS execution
Conduct the activity analysis on the business support of BDMs through daily logs to support the transition of BDMs
Maintain BDM Scorecard dashboard and periodically communicate with frontlines and related departments, including monthly/quarterly BDM Scorecard report generation, BDM Scorecard result communication, system upgrade and function optimization.
Board paper preparation and assist CDO to develop and execute the business development plans and strategies
Plan and organize distribution related forum, committee or meeting to review business progress and sales qualities issues
Coordinate and calibrate the business support at branches in accordance with the feedback received from partners and support distribution related matters at branch level, especially to coordinate on local regulator special asks.
Update channel management policies to ensure the smooth running of business as well as its legality and compliance and conduct regular self-assessment to ensure the effectiveness of the policies.
Assist line manager to develop and execute the business development plans and strategies
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned, and undertake responsibilities as needed to address changing business requirements and management direction.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Strong educational background with bachelor’s degree; overseas education experience or finance related degrees are preferred
At least two years of work experience in financial service industry
Team player and strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in English
