CrossRoad Engineers, PC Construction Inspector in Beech Grove, Indiana
CrossRoad Engineers, PC is looking to expand its team. We are looking for a Construction Inspector to assist in construction observation as they pertain to our projects.
Construction Inspector Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate all plans and project contract documents and ensure all activities in compliance with Quality Assurance procedures and review construction schedules for project compliance.
Supervise all field quality assurance tests and analyze same and inspect all construction projects and associated activities to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes.
Analyze and interpret all specifications and blueprints per contracts and monitor all deviations for same to ensure compliance to all procedures and maintain log of daily progress to prepare reports.
Monitor and perform regular checks on all contractor progress and maintain knowledge on all project requirements.
Track and document all construction activities and maintain variety of all logs and reports and prepare pay estimates.
Monitor all construction activities and their progress and ensure adherence to all procedures and specifications and evaluate all contract plans and maintain safety in all construction operations according to required standards, specifications, and codes.
Analyze all work sites and recommend changes and modification as per requirements to improve all processes and administer efficient working of all construction projects in coordination with the contract documents.
Monitor and document all issues with contracts and evaluate and interpret all contract specifications and material requirements and maintain and store all required documents for construction projects.
Ensure optimal level of customer services at all times and maintain effective relationships with all employees and officials and ensure adherence to all local, state and federal codes.
Build excellent communication skills with project team, government agencies and clients
Possess positive attitude and strong leadership skills
Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction site, and verifying calculations and placements.
Gain knowledge of local and state design standards and procedures
Possess strong professional work ethic
Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:

Construction Management Graduate with 0-3 years of relevant experience in construction inspection OR at least 0-3 years of relevant experience performing construction inspection.
