Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Principal Agile DevSecOps Engineer to provide support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLMC), PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HBU).
The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.
This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The Principal Agile DevSecOps Engineer will provide Agile DevSecOps systems engineering support applying a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of systems engineering principles to support the acquisition lifecycle and technical execution of complex programs.

Responsibilities Include:
Duties include, but not limited to:
Support implementation and execution of Agile software development and integration activities in coordination with Government and prime contractors.
Conduct program and portfolio reviews to evaluate technical plans, systems engineering activities, and test results to ensure subsystem and system performance meets approved program specifications.
Prepare technical documentation, manuals, management reports, and presentations defining system and subsystem characteristics and supporting program planning and corrective actions.
Provide systems engineering and technical support across the acquisition lifecycle, including development, integration, deployment, sustainment, installation, and operational oversight.
Perform system validation activities, including development of evaluation criteria and procedures and analysis of engineering results.
Support program risk management activities in compliance with Air Force Systems Engineering Assessment Model (SEAM) processes.
Conduct engineering trade studies evaluating performance, cost effectiveness, life cycle cost, reliability, maintainability, risk, and schedule impacts.
Provide technical recommendation support services, including engineering reviews, studies, audits, analyses, documentation development, and support of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Provide technical and proposal analysis support, comparing systems, components, and approaches for feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness.
Provide concepts and requirements analysis support, including review of capability documentation such as ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, AoAs, CONOPs, Technology Development Strategies, and configuration audits (FCA/PCA).
Apply advanced engineering theories, principles, concepts, and methods to ensure work aligns with program objectives, cost, schedule, performance requirements, and established policies while collaborating with Government and contractor personnel to review system design, analysis, and testing.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR
- 30 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 20 years of which must be in the DoD
Years of Experience: 25 years of Relevant Experience, 15 years of which must be in the DoD
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: TS/SCI
Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field
Years of experience: 20 years of Relevant Experience, 12 years of which must be in the DoD
Technical Skills
Server management and infrastructure support
Implementation and integration of third-party tools and software solutions
Experience managing software development teams and workflows (JIRA ticket management)
Development of technical manuals, documentation, and engineering artifacts
Cybersecurity remediation support and collaboration across multiple technical disciplines
Experience with Linux-based systems and enterprise server environments
Familiarity with technologies and tools such as Cisco networking equipment, Ansible, Splunk, GitLab, JIRA, Confluence
Understanding of DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks including STIGs, RMF, and eMASS
Experience supporting networking infrastructure, storage systems (SAN), and enterprise server environments
Interpersonal Skills

The expected annual salary range: $175k - $195k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
