SAIC Engineering Technician II in Bedford, Indiana

Description

SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Bedford, IN to support the U.S. Navy in Radar Restoration.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate must be familiar with mechanical and electrical concepts and applications and must have experience using testing equipment such as: volt/ohm meters, power supplies, micrometers, calipers and depth gauges. Candidate will be operating in environments that could result in the use of ladders, scissor lifts and or man lifts. It is expected that the candidate will have some experience in dealing with mechanical and electrical prints in their work history.

  • Be a Self starter.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing materials and tools after use.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to production and safety.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Education or equivalent and minimum one year work experience.

  • Database or Excel experience is a bonus.

  • Forklift experience is preferred.

  • Must be able to use a computer and simple software applications.
