Title: Summer Associate Senior Program Coordinator Starting Salary Range: The starting salary range for this position will be in the $24.57-$25.30 per hour range, depending on experience, education, and skills relevant to the position. Please note that the indicated starting salary range describes the range for an incumbent in this position. Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range of percentages to ensure internal salary equity. Position Summary: The Summer Associate Senior Program Coordinator (SPC) is responsible for the full administration, compliance, and operational management of Stewards Summer Associate AmeriCorps VISTA Program. The SPC oversees all phases of the national 10-week Summer Associate initiative, supporting up to 50 short-term VISTA placements across diverse project sites. Core responsibilities include reviewing and recommending host-site applications, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, facilitating mandatory orientations, monitoring member and site compliance, and maintaining accurate program records. The SPC also manages agreements and site support fees and is responsible for collecting and synthesizing all final reports into a comprehensive end-of-program report. Outcomes & Functions of Position: General Administration Ensure full compliance with AmeriCorps, VISTA, and Conservation Legacy policies, procedures, guidance, and reporting requirements. Review, assess, approve, and recommend host site applications for Summer Associate VISTA placements. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Salesforce and other organizational systems. Track and record all host site support fees and associated agreements. Facilitate required host site mentor orientations and Summer Associate member orientations. Conduct exit interviews and ensure the completion and submission of all required VISTA documentation. Review all member reports and produce a comprehensive final program report summarizing outcomes, performance measures, and programmatic impacts. Member?Placements? Support development of Service Opportunity Listings in collaboration with project partners. Design and implement effective recruitment and outreach strategies to ensure a diverse pool of qualified applicants. Monitor incoming applications for quality and volume, and provide guidance to host sites on member selection in accordance with VISTA regulations. Coordinate onboarding for Summer Associate members by communicating with internal teams, host sites, and applicants to ensure timely completion of all requirements. Ensure all approved positions are filled within established recruitment timelines and capacity expectations. Program Support and Administration? Monitor timely and accurate completion of timesheets and other required AmeriCorps documentation. Enforce and follow up on risk management procedures, Stewards Program policies, and VISTA guidelines. Review and track all incident reports, vehicle accident reports, and workers compensation claims; ensure appropriate documentation and follow-through. Assist with coordination of logistical needs related to Summer Associate placements. Facilitate the development and dissemination of appropriate social media content connected to the program. Compile, analyze, and report program data for internal stakeholders, AmeriCorps partners, and external reports, including required performance measurement data. Maintain proactive communication with partners to strengthen relationships, improve member support, and enhance program quality. Coordinate and ensure completion and quality of all member and site final evaluations. Organizational Administration Participate in staff meetings, cross-team collaborations, and organizational initiatives as assigned. Adhere to Conservation Legacys policies, including credit card usage and required financial documentation. Organizational Advocacy and Culture Promote and support an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming workplace environment for all staff, members, and partners. Contribute to organizational teams, initiatives, and projects that advance Conservation Legacys Strategic Plan. Ability to safely drive an organizational vehicle may also be required for some positions. Must be able to pass the organizations criminal history check requirements.
