Machine operator positions require candidates to: be able to be on your feet all day, and perform various machine operation tasks, have good basic math, and writing skills, in a fast-paced production environment.
SHIFTS
Day 2 : Fri, Sat, Sun, rotating Mon 5:30am-5:30pm
Night 1 : Tues, Wed, Thurs, rotating Mon 5:30pm- 5:30am
Night 2 : Fri, Sat, Sun, rotating Mon 5:30pm-5:30am
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Works in an organized, safe manner according to written procedures.
Performs quality checks and examines product for defects (cuts, folds, seals, and perforations) to ensure satisfaction.
Processes components in standard cycle time.
Actuates machinery to process components.
Inspects and removes defective products.
Provides clear communication and positive teamwork to keep work flowing properly.
Upholds the company standards to create a positive environment and culture for the facility.
Other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in a repetitive light to moderate manufacturing or equivalent environment.
Ability to trouble shoot and think critically.
Be a team oriented, self-motivated, and positive individual with strong work ethic.
Must be able to understand and perform to quality standards, methods, usage of inspection devices and reporting as required.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to manipulate small to medium components with hands.
Ability to work in close vicinity of others.
May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull.
Must frequently lift and/or move items while operating machinery up to 35 pounds. Less frequent lifts of 70 pounds with the assistance of a box lifter or other team member may also be required.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud (hearing protection required).
Pay Details: $18.75 to $20.25 per hour
