Ultima Genomics, Inc. Field Service Engineer in Beaverton, Oregon
JOB DUTIES: Provide on-site service, repair and/or installation of companyandrsquo;s genomic sequencing instrumentation, applying knowledge of biomaterials and digital processing of biological data; review technical reports and documents from customers and analyze issues with technical staff to find root cause and communicate next steps and timelines to customers; maintain records of tool configurations pertaining to hardware, software, consumables, and application releases; manage customer interface with research and development groups; summarize and communicate issues to development engineers for triage and participate in root cause analysis investigation. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Scienceandrsquo;s degree in Biomedical Engineering; coursework in measurement laboratory, nano biomaterials and living-systems interaction, nanoscale materials, and digital processing of biological signals.
