Reference #: 27828165 Assembler Beaver, PA Pay : $17.95 per hour 26-02773 Job Summary The Assembler I is responsible for assembling components, sub-assemblies, and final products in accordance with established instructions and quality standards. This role involves operating hand tools, power tools, and production equipment while supporting furnace brazing processes. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform basic testing and material handling tasks in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Assemble parts, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand tools, bench tools, and power equipment Follow work instructions and assignments provided by supervisors or team leads Perform basic electrical and mechanical tests, including ground and dielectric testing Load and unload materials, including contacts, conductors, and solder materials, for furnace brazing processes Operate manufacturing equipment such as riveters, drill presses, sanders, grinders, and other production machinery Perform soldering and wire preparation tasks, including cutting, stripping, forming, and assembling leads Package finished products, including labeling and preparing cartons for shipment Inspect work for defects and report any quality or equipment issues Move materials as needed to support production flow Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Job Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to work assigned schedules and meet production demands Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Work Experience Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
