Job Title: Warehouse Lead (Level 3 - Hands-On) Company: Cooper Group Staffing LLC Location:Beaumont Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: Cooper Group Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Lead (Level 3) to oversee daily warehouse operations while actively working alongside team members. This hands-on leadership role requires strong operational knowledge, team coordination skills, and a commitment to safety, productivity, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring workflows run efficiently and company standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support warehouse team members in daily operations
- Actively participate in warehouse tasks including picking, packing, loading, and unloading
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor workflow to ensure productivity and accuracy standards are met
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience
- Prior experience in a lead or team leader role required
- Forklift certification and proven equipment operating experience
- Valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions
