Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Gold Country Inn at Beale AFB, CA. This position is a RFT and may work 35-40 hours a week. Physical effort in lifting and carrying supplies, materials, and equipment weighing up to 40lbs. Heavier items are moved with equipment or the assistance of other workers. Required to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. Bends, stoops, and works in tiring or uncomfortable positions. Responsibilities This position is responsible in receiving, checking, storing, accounting and issuing supplies and equipment. Duties are to receive, count, weight, and check items to ensure that the vendor has delivered the type and quality of items and/or services purchased. Place items in stockroom locations, stacking items in groups by commodity and size. Fill requisitions of activities. Perform or assist in end-of-month inventories of stock by counting items and giving figures to supervisor. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in and knowledge of methods used in receiving, storing, and issuing routine materials and equipment. Must be able to organize, arrange, and remove stock. Skill in use of dollies, jacks, and hand tools used in warehousing tasks. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry object weighing up to 40 pounds. Must have a valid Class C driver's license. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
