We are looking for a driven and collaborative client-focused Project Engineer to grow with our team with the Lower Hudson Valley, NY. Reporting into the Project Manager, you’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll have an opportunity to work on active projects coordinating the progression of trades and design-field staff. You will participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings following projects from commencing of construction to occupancy by end users. You'll oversee work completed by contractors and consultants is of the highest quality with safety being our highest priority. You will also provide support to the project team by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, and change order estimates/negotiations. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on multiple fast-moving projects and larger, long-scheduled projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related disciplines

• 3+ years of experience working on construction or civil projects

• Knowledge of construction contract administration during the construction phase

• Knowledge of or experience with construction document controls software or applications

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Previous experience managing a Document Control effort

• Previous experience in a construction environment is highly desirable, with an understanding of the construction process and coordination of various entities in the industry

• Previous experience in processing and reviewing RFIs

• Ability to review construction contract document and drawings to establish base scope and the ability to analyze and track changes to project scope

• Previous experience working in K12 construction projects
