Operations Training Administrator ABOUT THE POSITION While reporting to the Training Manager, the Operations Training Administrator manages operation training programs by scheduling sessions, preparing materials, tracking attendance and progress, and communicating with participants and vendors. They ensure training initiatives run smoothly, helping employees gain necessary skills and align programs with Austin Powder Company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include updating the Learning Management Systems (LMS), recordkeeping, logistical support for classes, and assisting in the development and evaluation of training. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Program Coordination: Scheduling training sessions, booking venues, making hotel reservations, vehicle reservations, meals and equipment, and managing logistics for training events. Process all invoices as needed. Administrative Support: Arrange building access for off-site participants. Print materials, register participants in the LMS, and maintain trainee lists, schedules, and attendance records. Material Management: Create, update, and distribute training materials. Publish new courses in the LMS. Build and modify learning plans in the LMS. Record Keeping and Recording: Maintain an accurate recordkeeping system to track employee participation, progress, and training completion on compliance based courses. Mark learners complete for ILT courses related to compliance and/or regulatory compliance. Austin Powder Company Systems Support: Develop a thorough understanding and appreciation of field locations daily administrative and office functions, including the use of essential computer applications to meet operational and compliance requirements. Communication: Serving as a liaison between participants, vendors, and management, providing information and addressing issues. Maintain the email address for the training department. Produce quarterly training calendar. Needs Assessment: Identifying training needs and suggesting new programs or improvements to existing ones to enhance learning and development activities. Partner with Austin Powder Company SMEs to coordinate Lunch &Learn sessions. The above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for the performance of this position. Experience in lieu of education may be considered. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. Experience working in an LMS is highly desired. Experience building eLearning content desired. Experience in Federal Regulatory preferred, not required.
