We're looking for a skilled and motivated Production Specialist to operate state-of-the-art digital printing and finishing equipment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operate Advanced Print & Finishing Equipment
- Set up and run the Canon ColorStream 3900z digital press.
- Operate Hunkeler Gen 8 pre- and post-processing systems.
- Work with finishing equipment, including:
- Standard Horizon BQ-470 Perfect Binder
- Standard Horizon HT-80 Trimmer
- Shrink-wrap systems and related equipment.
Quality Control & Productivity
- Monitor print jobs for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or print-related issues.
- Maintain optimal machine performance through routine adjustments and cleaning.
Problem-Solving & Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly.
- Follow established procedures or coordinate with technical support when needed.
Safety & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and policies.
QualificationsRequired
- Demonstrated experience in print production or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
Experience with the Canon ColorStream 3900z.
Familiarity with Hunkeler Gen 8 finishing lines.
