Ascend Hospitality LLC Kitchen Staff in Beach Haven, New Jersey

Kitchen Staff. 11 temp/full-time positions w/ Ascend Hospitality LLC DBA Terrace Tavern from 4/1/26 - 10/24/26.

Prep food for guests to order using a variety of equip incl. gas ranges, flat tops, & fryers. Receive orders, stock & clean station, & maintain refrigeration/freezer/dry storage inventory. Prep foods for cooking using slicers, knives, & mixers. Use safe/sanitary food handling proced. Clean dishes/kitchen/food prep equip/utensils. Wash dishes/glassware/flatware/pots/pans, using dishwashers or by hand. Sort/remove trash. Organize dishes/linens/utensils/cooking equip in storage areas.

Entry lvl; reqs suprvsn. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when nec. Standard wrkwk is Wed-Sun. Mon & Tues reqd, when nec. Must work both shifts, 12PM-8PM, & 4PM-12AM. On-the-job train provided to the wrkr.

Emplyr pays in advance or reimburses wrkrs in 1st workweek for all gov-mandated & visa-related fees (excl. passport fees). For non-local wrkrs (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), emplyr arranges & pays directly or reimburses for inbound travel costs no later than upon completion of 1st half of contract (50% point). Inbound travel incl. transport costs from workers perm residence or place of recruit to place of employ, a daily subsist for meals & reasonable lodging costs, if appl.

Subsist reimburse based on rates specified in Federal Register (currently $16.28/day min, or $68.00/day max for wrkrs w/ acceptable receipts). Transport reimburse based on wrkrs actual cost, not to exceed most economical common carrier transport costs for distances involved. Emplyr provides or pays outbound travel costs to same wrkrs upon completion of contract period or early dismissal, except where wrkr has subsequent employ.

Emplyr guarantees to offer hrs equal to at least 3/4 of workdays in each 12-wk period of total contract period, beginning with 1st workday after worker arrives at place of employ & ending on contract end date or any extension thereof. Emplyr may count all hrs worked, as well as any hrs offered within standard work schedule that a wrkr chooses to not work, up to the max # of daily hrs on job order. Wrkrs who voluntarily abandon employ arent entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or full 3/4 period guarantee described.

Emplyr provides w/out charge all tools/supplies/equip (incl uniform, if applicable) nec to perform duties assigned. If requested, emplyr assists non-local wrkrs to secure optional wrkr-paid lodging. Cost (TBD) will not exceed fair market value, based on # of occupants. Rental payments are paid by wrkrs directly to property owner & are not payroll deducted.

13201 Long Beach Blvd Beach Haven NJ 08008 & 13211 Long Beach Blvd Beach Haven NJ 08008 in Ocean County. No daily transport to/from workers' home & primary worksite.

Wage rate is no less than $20.82/hr. OT hrs vary at: $31.23/ hr. Raises &/or bonuses may be offered to any wrkr in specified occupation, at companys sole discretion based on individual factors incl work performance, skill, & tenure.

A single wrkwk will be used to compute wages due. Payroll period is bi-wkly. Wrkrs are paid by check on Fri. Standard workweek is Wed-Sun. Mon & Tues reqd, when nec. Must be able to work both shifts, 12PM-8PM, & 4PM-12AM. Emplyr will offer 40 hrs/wk. Emplyr may offer more than stated work hrs, depending on weather, business needs, & other conditions. Extreme heat/cold/rain/drought may affect exact working hrs. Emplyr makes all payroll deduct reqd by law. Employer doesnt envision other workforce-wide payroll deducts.
