Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club Housekeeping in Beach Haven, New Jersey
Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club, Beach Haven, NJ. Daily transportation provided via bicycle from centrally located staff housing.
10 Housekeeping positions available. Temporary, full-time position from 04/01/2026 through 11/1/2026, 7:00am-12:ooam, 40 hrs/week, Monday-Sunday, Schedule/shifts vary. Hours, & start/end times vary. Weekends & holidays are required. Overtime is required but varies. Workers will be paid Weekly at $24.09/hr, $36.15/hr OT. Raise/bonus at employer's discretion.
Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, sanitary and well maintained according to resort standards. Key duties include cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, making beds, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restocking amenities and reporting maintenance issues. This role requires high attention to detail, physical stamina and excellent customer service skills.
Able to lift 50lbs. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day. No experience required, will train. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates voluntary housing arrangements upon worker request along with corresponding payroll deductions of $125/pay period.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly and/or reimburse the worker for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day.
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
