The Beach House Inc dba The Beach House Rest is lookin 2 fill 7 Food Prep Workers pos, temp full-time seasonal 4/1/26-10/14/26.
Worksite: 13015 Long Beach Blvd, Beach Haven Terrace, Ocean Cty, NJ 08008. Duties: Ast cooks & kitch staff w/ var tasks as needed & prov cooks w/ needed items. Prep var foods (meats, veg, desserts) acc 2 customers orders or supv instr, foll appr proc. Wash, peel, & cut var foods (fruits, veg) 2 prep 4 cook/serv. Clean fowl, fish, poultry, shellfish 2 prep 4 cook/serv.
Stir/strain soups & sauces. Make spec dressings/sauces as condim. Mix ingred 4 green salads. Portion & wrap food or place on plates 4 serv. Scrape leftovers 2 garb. Load dishes, glasses, tableware into dishwash mach. Clean & sanit work areas, equip, utensils, dishes, silverware. Rem trash & clean kitch garb cont. Clean dining area & other rel Food Prep Workers act as per SOC/OES 35-2021 (onetonline.org).
Stan/Expec Sched: MonFri 8AM2:30PM or 4PM10:30PM. Offering 35+ hrs/wk; not incl lunch/brks. Empls may work var shifts btw hrs oper, 8AM10:30PM. Wkly sched may vary. 7-hr shifts w/ 30-min lunch brk std. Poss wknd/hol work. Start/end times, off hrs &/or OT vary dep on proj/sched/serv needs, weather, commute btw worksites (if appl). Hrs may fluctuate w/ tourism peaks/valleys thru season (+/-), poss downtime &/or OT.
Terms: Empr will comply w/ all appl Fed, State & local employ-related laws/regs: wages, breaks, hrs worked & OT hrs (OT poss, not req/guar). If OT worked, wage paid 1.5x reg rate >40 hrs/wk.
Require: Must b 18 due 2 state labor laws, show proof legal auth 2 work US. Drug/Alc/Tob-free zone. Perform phys activities: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manip materials; use static strength 2 exert max muscle force lift/push/pull/carry objs up 2 40 lbs.
No min educ req. OTJ training avail.
All appls must b able, willing & qual 2 perform work desc & avail entire period.
Wages & Cond Employ: $18.73/hr up 2 poss $33/hr OT $28.10/hr up 2 poss $49.50/hr. Wage may vary based on Exp. Single workwk std 4 comp wages. Paid 2 wks. Deducts req by law made by empr + any tax w/h or other deduc(s) auth by worker.
At Emprs sole discr: poss raises &/or bonus based on indiv Fact (work perf/skill, not guar); poss cash adv (if appl/req by worker, pot deduct from paycheck). In/Out Transp (Init Arrival & Contract Compl/Subseq Departure): Transp payment/reimb = most econ & reas common carrier 4 distances. Daily subs provided at rate req @ travel time (curr $16.28/day 2 max $68/day w/ receipts). Transp & subs reimb (chk 1st wk) 4 cost from place worker came 2 work for empr, US/abroad, 2 place employ. Will reimb H-2B worker 1st wk 4 visa, visa proc, border crossing & other rel fees, incl govt-mandated (not incl passport). Upon contract completion or if worker dismissed early, empr will prov/pay 4 reas return transp & subs back home/orig departure, except if worker wont return due 2 subseq employ w/ another empr.
3/4s Guarantee: Worker off total hrs 3/4 workdays each 12-wk period. Tools/Equip/Supplies: All work w/ employer-prov tools, supplies & equip w/o charge/deposit. Misc: Opt shared furn housing avail (incl Basic Utils, Wi-Fi, Laundry) at monthly rate up 2 $350; if worker agrees, rate ded bi-wkly. Vol abandons employ not ent 2 outbound transp or full 3/4s Guarantee.
