Bird and Bettys LLC NJ H-2B Job Order Information
Cook, Restaurant -12 temporary, FT (04/0l/2026-11/01/2026).
Workers will assist in the kitchen of full-service restaurant including but not limited to preparing, seasoning and cooking dishes such as soups, meats, seafood, vegetables and desserts. Cooks may be in charge of ordering supplies, keeping records and accounts, price items and plan menus. Service industry is rapid paced and requires being on your feet and in constant movement.
Workers unable to handle these items will be unable to adequately perform the required job duties. Required duties are consistent with the USDOL Standard Occupational Classification (OES/SOC 35-2014) code for Cooks, restaurant. All tools/equipment provided at no charge/deposit. Daily transportation to and from work location provided at no cost. Able to lift/carry 50lbs, work bending/standing positions.
3 months related exp. Min $20.82/hr (OT @ $31.23/hr) or higher based on tenure, skills, job performance. Min 40hr+/wk. M-Thurs 10AM 4PM, F, Sat, & Sun 5PM10:00PM Wages computed using a single work week & paid no more than biweekly.
Job in Ocean County. H-2B workers reimbursed within rst workweek for all VISA processing, border crossing/related expenses, including any mandated by govt. Transport/subsistence from place of recruit to place of work reimbursed no later than the first pay period.
Upon completion of entire work period, employer shall pay the cost of return transportation/subsistence home/place of original departure for work unless the worker is not returning due to subsequent employment. Transport/reimbursement equal to that of the most economical common carrier for distance involved.
Daily subsistence at $16.28/day during travel to a max of $68.00/day with receipts. Housing/living expenses are the worker's responsibility.
