Cook.9 tmp/FT positions w/ J.C. Beach Haven Tavern LLC DBA Buckalew's Restaurant 4/1/2026-10/17/2026.
Prep/season/cook dshs incl soups salads meats vegs & desserts.Equip incl bsic ktchn ware (ovns brlrs grlls & roasters).Wrkrs cln food prep areas (equip wrk srfcs & srv areas) & ensre frshnss of food & ingreds keeping trck of old & new items & rotating stck.Wrkrs in cook postion wash/peel & cut fruits/vegs.Weigh measure & mix ingreds accord to recipes using var ktchn utns and equip. Wrkrs in Cook position season & cook food accrd to recipes turn/stir foods to ensre evn cooking & obsrv & tst foods to determ theyve been cooked sufficiently.Prep food for guests to ordr w/ var of equip incl gas rnges flat tops & fryers.Rec ordrs stck & cln station & mntain refrg frzer & dry storage inven.Prep foods for cooking w/ slicers knives & mixrs.Use safe & snitry food hndlng prcds.Mntains cln wrk station equip & ktchn.Mst lft/crry 50lbs, whn ncssry.Vrying shfts may be offrd btwn 10:00AM-12:00AM.
Sat & Sun wrk reqd whn necessary.Req 3 mnth cook exp.
Emplr pays in advance or reimburses wrkrs in 1st wrkwk for all gov-mandtd & visa fees (excl PP fees).For non-lcal wrkrs (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), Emplr reimburses inbnd trvl csts @ 50% pnt in cntrct (unless adv).Inbnd trvl incl transp csts frm wrkrs perm res or plce of recruitmt, daily meal subsistence (bsed on rates reqd by law, crrntly $16.28/day min or $68.00/day max for wrkrs w/ accptble receipts) & reasnble ldging csts if applicable.Trvl reimb bsed on least-cost cmmn carrier rate.Emplr provides or pays otbnd trvl csts upn compltn of cntrct period or erly dismissal exc where wrkr has sbsqnt emplymt.Emplr guar to offr hrs equal to at least 3/4 of wrkdys in each 12 wk period of total cntrct period bgnnng w/ the wrkrs 1st wrkdy & ending on cntrct end or any ext thereof. Emplr may cnt all hrs wrkd as well as hrs offrd w/in stnd wrk sch that a wrkr chses to not wrk up to max # of hrs on JO.Wrkrs who vol abndn emplymt arent entitled to pymt for otbnd trvl $ or the 3/4s period guarantee descr abve.Emplr prvds w/out chrge all tools suppl & equip (incl. unif) neces to perf dties assgnd.If rqstd, Emplr hlps non-lcal wrkrs scre opt wrkr-paid ldging (not exceedn fair mrkt value bsed on # of occpnts $ TBD).Hsing $ paid drctly to lndlrd & arent pyrll deduct.

WAGE INFO: Wage rate @$20.82 per hour.OT hrs @$31.23 per hour.Raises &/or bonuses may be offrd @ Emplr's discretion, bsd on indiv fctrs sch as perf skill & tnre. A wrkwk is used to cmpte wages.Pyrll pd is biweekly.Wrkrs paid by chck Fri.Stnd wrk sch 2:00PM-10:00PM, Mon-Fri.Emplr offrs 40hrs/wk.Emplr may offr mre thn stated wrk hrs depndg on wthr, biz needs, & othr cndtns.Emplr mkes all pyrll deducts reqd by law.Emplr doesnt envision othr wrkfrce-wide pyrll deducts.
