Position Summary
The Manager, IS PMO Portfolio provides leadership and oversight for complex, multi‑phased system implementations across BayCare. This role manages the centralized IS project portfolio and ensures successful delivery through effective planning, governance, resource management, and execution. The position supervises project managers and IS team members and partners closely with executive sponsors to achieve organizational objectives.
Projects may span hospitals, clinics, outpatient locations, and physician practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provide oversight and leadership for complex, multi‑phase IS system implementations
Manage portfolio‑level planning, governance, and prioritization
Oversee change management, communication, testing, training, and quality delivery
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
Supervise project managers and other IS team members
Collaborate with executive sponsors and senior leaders
Ensure projects align with organizational strategy and deliver business value
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Experience:
5 years of project management experience
2 years of leadership experience, including team development, mentoring, or BayCare leadership development programs
Required Certification (one required):
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Program Management Professional (PgMP)
Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)
