Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer, Product Development Engineering to join our team in Central Seberang Perai, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will work in driving innovation for our product development processes,engineering and design.
Spearhead the development and implementation of advanced engineering strategies to enhance product performance and efficiency
Analyze and interpret data to drive informed decision-making in product development processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and engineering standards
Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve product development processes
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development lifecycle
Participate in technical reviews and provide expert guidance on module engineering challenges
Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and performance
Qualifications
Required:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
10+ years of experience in product development engineering
Proven track record of managing product development projects
Advanced knowledge of product development processes & principles
Memory test process, test flow design, system test process and flow design, failure analysis of memory and system failures are must
Skills:
Expertise in programming, circuit analysis and data analysis tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisive engineering decisions
Excellent project management abilities and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in product development
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain management
Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes
Proficiency in technical writing and presenting complex engineering concepts to diverse audiences
