Jacobs Project Manager - Client Service Lead (Transportation Infrastructure) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Jacobs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Service Lead / Project Manager (CSL/PM) to drive strategic growth and deliver exceptional transportation projects across Louisiana. This high-impact leadership role blends client engagement with hands-on project management, with a focus on expanding our presence with LADOTD, parish governments, and municipal clients throughout the state in the Highways and Bridges submarket.
As a trusted advisor and seller‑doer, you will lead pursuit strategies, strengthen key client relationships, and manage signature transportation projects that enhance mobility, improve safety, and support the resilience of Louisiana’s communities and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for LADOTD districts, parish engineers, and municipal clients, building trust and long-term partnerships.
Act as Project Manager for highway and bridge design projects, as well as non-design program management and planning contracts—including safety, operational, and resiliency-focused initiatives.
Drive strategic pursuits by identifying opportunities and leading winning proposal and capture strategies for transportation projects across Louisiana.
Provide subject matter expertise in roadway and bridge design, traffic and safety improvements, and multi-modal project delivery.
Represent Jacobs at industry associations, conferences, and regional events to position us as a leader in transportation and infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate closely with sales, operations, marketing, and technical staff to align client priorities with Jacobs’ capabilities.
Influence project development, design standards, and program strategies while contributing to Jacobs’ continued growth within Louisiana’s transportation sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Louisiana.
Progressive experience in transportation and highway engineering, including managing roadway and/or bridge design projects.
Demonstrated experience working with LADOTD and familiarity with parish and municipal transportation agencies.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across technical disciplines.
Strong understanding of LADOTD processes, design criteria, policies, and project development procedures.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
12+ years of experience in transportation and highway engineering, including project management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Public Manager (CPM) certification.
Established relationships with LADOTD districts, regional planning bodies, and local municipalities across Louisiana.
