This Plumber/Pipefitter is responsible for maintaining plumbing fixtures throughout campus facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Install, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures and equipment such as; water lines, sewage lines, gas lines, steam lines, gas heaters, hot water heaters, water fountains and steam cookers.
Repair leaking water lines that control the water flow in commodes, sinks, etc. Repair and replace worn plumbing fixtures, repair clogged drains, etc.
Adjustments to piping and tubing connected to steam pumps, air compressor, water pumps and heaters.
Trains and monitor work of plumbers assigned to the department, maintain daily log on equipment/material needed. Submit quotes for supplies needed as needed.

Appointment Type: Probational
Compensation: The starting salary is $ 19.67/hour.
Work Location: This position is located at the Physical Plant.
Criminal background check and reference verification is required.
