Description
Lamar Advertising is looking for a Director of Oracle CPQ Product to lead the strategy, governance, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platform to support enterprise sales transformation and key business objectives. This role partners closely with Sales, IT, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, integrated, and user-focused CPQ solutions. The Director is responsible for the platform roadmap, architecture, integration strategy, team leadership, and continuous improvement to ensure Oracle CPQ effectively supports business operations and growth.

What we're looking for in you:
Strong knowledge of Oracle CPQ platform administration, architecture, and implementation best practices.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable CPQ and integrated platform solutions.
Strong understanding of Salesforce, ERP, and CPQ integrations.
Experience with Oracle CPQ configuration and customization, including BML scripting, pricing rules, approval workflows, and document generation.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, release management, and platform governance.
Strong leadership, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field preferred.
7+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ administration, implementation, development, or product ownership, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, enterprise platforms, or large-scale technical initiatives.
Experience with enterprise CPQ implementations and business transformation initiatives required.
Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Salesforce (SFDC), ERP systems, and related enterprise applications required.
Experience with Microsoft platforms and tools preferred.
Oracle CPQ certifications or equivalent current Oracle credentials are highly preferred.

A day in the life:
Lead and develop Oracle CPQ team members and/or external implementation resources.
Provide direction, coaching, performance feedback, and development support aligned with department and organizational goals.
Lead the strategic direction, roadmap, and execution of the Oracle CPQ platform in alignment with business and sales transformation goals.
Oversee platform architecture, configuration, governance, security, and design standards.
Serve as the primary Oracle CPQ product owner and strategic advisor across multiple lines of business.
Lead Oracle CPQ efforts for Project Quantum , including integration of quoting and sales processes across Oracle CPQ, ERP, and Salesforce (SFDC) systems.
Partner with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and platform enhancements.
Establish and maintain enterprise-wide CPQ standards, processes, and best practices while supporting business flexibility.
Oversee platform development and enhancements, including BML scripting , rules configuration, workflows, document generation, and system integrations.
Manage product backlog, release planning, testing, quality assurance, and change management processes.
Monitor platform performance, user adoption, and business value to drive continuous improvement.
Build, lead, and develop internal team members and external implementation partners to support platform success.
Evaluate and manage third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
Ensure documentation, training, and support processes are in place for long-term platform effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The primary work environment is an office.
The physical demands for this position include light to moderate lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading), sitting more than 50% of the time, talking, and walking.
Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%.
Quarterly travel may be required
