Lockers Manufacturing, LLC Turret Machine Operator 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Batesville, Mississippi
Lockers MFG is seeking a dependable Turret Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in producing high-quality custom lockers. This position is responsible for setting up and operating a CNC turret punch press to accurately produce sheet metal components from design specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Turret Machine Operator will be responsible for the following within the manufacturing department:
Immediately notify supervisor of any accidents within the department and fill out appropriate documentation.
Safety FIRST - Wear proper PPE.
Follow the 6S environment including documented audits to verify cleanliness standards have been maintained.
Work within the department to maximize productivity.
Track productivity measurements and fill out documentation on a daily basis.
Record program changes, machine settings, and production results for consistency and future runs.
Follow all prototype operations and fill out inspection sheet.
Follow quality issues of all team members on the shift.
Comply with training and documentation of individual team members.
Follow Turret Machine Operator work instructions.
In addition to the above responsibilities Turret Machine Operator must be able to:
Set up and operate CNC turret punch press machines
Load and position sheet metal materials for production
Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and measurements
Perform tool changes and minor machine adjustments
Perform routine inspections using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
Identify and troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and team objectives
