Diversicare Batesville Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA in Batesville, Mississippi
*Pay based on experience
As a member of the Center nursing teame, the CNA will be responsible for assisting the professional nursing personell by delvering direct hands-on nursing care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents on a daily basis. The CNA is also responsible for assisting the residents to achieve the highest level of functioning while living as normal a lifestyle as possible.
Some other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Responding to resident call lights 2. Transporting residents by ambulation or wheelchair to facility areas. 3. Assists residents on admissions, transfers, and discharge 4. Safekeeping of residents; personal possessions 5. Keeping the residents' rooms neat and safe 6. Re-teaching residents to perform ADL skills 7. Perform blood perssure, pulse, respirations 8. Intake/Output and weights accuratly and record the data 9. Assisting residents with meals 10. Documenting room visits 11. Housekeeping dueies 12. Assisting Team members 13. Other duties as assigned
Must be abailable to work overtime as needed
Qualifications: Certified in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experiece preferred with Long term care experience being a plus; Verbal communication skills, Ability to read and write and accurately report.
