Our Leadership and Technical Development Program (LTDP) is a two-year rotational experience designed to accelerate your growth and prepare you for a future in manufacturing leadership.

This role is based at Caterpillar’s Indonesia Batam facility, a key manufacturing site where we produce Hydraulic Shovels—vital equipment used in infrastructure development and mining to move the materials that help build a better world.

What You’ll Experience
You will embark on a structured development journey consisting of rotational assignments across a maximum of two functions over 24 months. You’ll gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, and access Caterpillar’s global learning resources—all while contributing to real-world projects that matter.

Each rotation is designed to strengthen technical capabilities, develop leadership potential, and provide cross‑functional exposure to Caterpillar’s manufacturing operations, enabling participants to build a strong foundation for a long‑term career with the organization.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking motivated recent graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and develop future leadership capabilities. Ideal candidates will have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from reputable Universities in Indonesia or International University (for Indonesian graduates).
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English (TOEFL score minimum 500 or IELTS score minimum 5.5).
A strong interest in problem‑solving, innovation, and continuous improvement.
A proactive, self‑driven mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
Full commitment to a full‑time, 24‑months development program.
Selection Process
The selection process begins with the submission of your CV, academic transcript, and cover letter. Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted based on academic performance and overall achievements.
Shortlisted candidates will proceed to a technical and/or aptitude assessment, followed by interviews. Final candidates will be required to complete a medical check‑up prior to onboarding.
