Order to Cash Associate
Location: The Merlin Hub, Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke
Contract Type: Permanent Salaried, Hybrid (3 days per week in the office, 2 days per week from home)
We’re looking for two proactive Order to Cash Associates to join our high‑performing O2C team in our Basingstoke office. One role will focus on Trade customers, and the other will specialise in Schools & Groups. Both roles play a critical part in keeping cash flowing, customers happy, and our ledgers healthy, and each brings its own customer dynamics and exciting challenges!
Trade O2C Associate
You will be the trusted finance partner for our Trade customers, taking ownership of the sales ledger from billing through to cash collection. Working closely with Trade teams and superusers, you will ensure invoicing is right first time, payments are received on time, and queries are resolved quickly and professionally. Your ability to build strong working relationships will be key to maintaining a clean ledger and minimising overdue debt.
Schools & Groups O2C Associate
In this role, you will manage the end‑to‑end Order to Cash process for Schools and Groups customers. You’ll work collaboratively with attractions and internal stakeholders to issue accurate billing, proactively chase payments, and handle queries with sensitivity to the specific needs and timelines of schools. Your focus will be on excellent service, strong communication, and maintaining positive long‑term relationships while protecting cashflow.
Qualifications & Experience
For both the Trade and Schools & Groups roles you will bring:
Experience in accounts receivable, billing, credit control, or sales ledger work (or a relevant finance degree)
Confidence managing a full O2C cycle including billing, collections, query resolution, and cash allocation
Strong customer relationship skills, with experience engaging internal and external stakeholders
The ability to work to strict deadlines, including month‑end
A proactive, resilient approach to chasing outstanding payments and resolving issues
Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Role ‑ specific focus:
Trade role: experience working with trade customers, pricing queries, or commercial teams is highly beneficial
Schools & Groups role: experience dealing with schools, public sector, or group customers and handling varied billing requirements is an advantage
