Work Tasks to be performed
· The Harvest Operator is responsible for operating machinery and performing manual labor to harvest crops in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
· Drive and control farm equipment to harvest crops such as peas and corn with attention to surroundings and operation of equipment in a safe and careful manner. May also include
operating stationary equipment to perform post-harvest tasks.
· Perform pre-inspection of all equipment before operating machinery and notify the supervisor immediately if adjustments, repairs or service are needed. Communicate with supervisors and/or peers in person, telephone or written form.

· El operador de cosecha es responsable de manejar la maquinaria y realizar labores manuales para
cosechar los cultivos de manera segura, eficiente y puntual.
· Conducir y controlar la maquinaria agrícola para cosechar cultivos como guisantes y maíz, prestando atención a el entorno y operando el equipo de manera segura y cuidadosa. También puede incluir
el manejo de equipos estacionarios para realizar tareas posteriores a la cosecha.
· Realizar una inspección previa de todo el equipo antes de operar la maquinaria y notificar al supervisor de inmediato si se necesitan ajustes, reparaciones o mantenimiento. Comunicarse con los supervisores y/o compañeros en persona, por teléfono o por escrito.
Job Requirements
· 3 months of relevant work experience.
· Must anticipate being available to work the entire contract period.
· Must be able to provide references to verify experience
· Lifting requirement 50 lbs repetitively
The employer will furnish, without charge, tools, supplies and protective equipment required to perform the specified work.

Pay
Hourly wage is $19.82. The payroll period is biweekly.
Pago
